Leo P. Carroll is the senior partner of Stevens, Carroll & Carveth.  He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Boston College Law School in 1969 and Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Villanova University in 1966.  He is admitted to the bar in the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.  He is a member of the American, Connecticut and Milford Bar Associations.

Attorney Carroll practices in the areas of real estate, land use and zoning work.  His experience includes representation of many national, regional and local developers and owners in projects ranging from large regional malls to residential subdivisions.  He has handled numerous appeals for projects which he has been involved in, both at the Superior Court and Appellate Court levels.  He has been extensively involved in real estate sales and purchases on behalf of both buyers and sellers.  He has represented such national clients as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Circuit City Stores, Inc. and SCHICK.  He has also had extensive experience in commercial leasing, having dealt in retail, commercial and office leasing.  Additionally, Mr. Carroll has represented numerous buyers and sellers of residential real estate in his thirty-eight years of practice and is familiar with the preparation and execution of condominium documents.

Attorney Carroll, active in many community affairs, is a past president of United Way of Milford, has served on the Board of Directors of the Milford Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Milford Mental Health Clinic (Bridges).  He is past President of the Board of Directors of High Watch Farm, a non-profit alcohol rehabilitation center located in Kent, Connecticut.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of CATIC Financial, Inc., a member of the Board of Directors of Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company and was recently elected to the Board of Directors of New Jersey Title Insurance Company.  He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Milford Bank where he serves as Chairman of the Personnel Committee and also serves on the ALCO Committee and the Building Committee.
