Christopher B. Carveth, partner, has practiced law in Connecticut since 1975, becoming a partner in 1980.

Attorney Carveth practices in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, real estate, wills and estates, workers' compensation, and heart and hypertension claims for uniformed public safety officers.  He is a member of the Milford, New Haven and Connecticut Bar Associations and previously served as Membership Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice before the Connecticut Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Tax Court.  He has served on the faculties of the Sacred Heart University and the University of Bridgeport paralegal programs, and has chaired the CTLA Peoples Law School Program at Fairfield University. He is an active member of the Dean’s Council at Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut.  Attorney Carveth has lectured in the areas of products liability and workers' compensation for the continuing legal education programs of the Connecticut Bar Association and the CTLA, and as a guest lecturer for the small and minority business initiative of NASA.

Active in community affairs, Christopher has served as co-founder and president of River Park Elderly Housing, a 39 unit elderly housing school conversion project, past chairman of the St. Mary School Board, and as President of the Connecticut Center for Child Development, Milford.  He is a past Lt. Governor of New England Kiwanis and past president of the Milford Kiwanis Club.

Christopher presently resides in Orange, Connecticut and is a graduate of Milford High School (1968), the University of Bridgeport (B.A. cum laude, 1972), the University of Notre Dame London Centre for Legal Studies (1973-1974) and the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. (1975).  Mr. Carveth is a published marine photographer and licensed private pilot.  Christopher is married to Kimberly A. Sweeney, Esq.
