Joy Topazian Moore , Esq.

Joy Topazian Moore is an Associate of Stevens, Carroll & Carveth.  She received her Juris Doctor Degree, with Honors, from The University of Connecticut School of Law in 1988, where she was a member of the University of Connecticut Law Review, and was the recipient of the Corpus Juris Secundum Award and the American Jurisprudence Awards for Torts and Property.  She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from The George Washington University in 1984.  She is admitted to the bar of the State of Connecticut and of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Attorney Moore practices in the areas of real estate, finance, and general corporate matters. Her experience includes the representation of clients in the sale, purchase, and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, as well as associated finance and land use matters. In the area of finance, she has represented both lenders and borrowers in real estate and asset-based commercial transactions.  In addition, Attorney Moore has represented clients in a variety of corporate transactions, including asset sales, acquisitions, and contract negotiation and drafting.

Attorney Moore volunteers in her local public school.  She has served as a member of the Finance and Property Committee and is currently a member of the Building Committee of the Black Rock Congregational Church.
